This is beyond dumb. And it is clear that they just thought they could get away with it and that the rules don`t apply to them.

I think it`s a jump ball. And I think anybody who is watching tonight needs to realize that there`s lots of people that need to volunteer. And there`s lots of people that need to try to find five or $10 to give to their favorite candidate. It is not a done deal.
I hope voters get beyond the partisan stop and look at the character of these men.
I have won when the polls said I couldn't and I have lost when the polls said I would win, so I am not a big believer in all of the horse race stuff.
I think the filibuster is on life support. And I think if the Democrats pick up more seats, I think it will probably go away.
