Let’s be clear: the jobs data scheduled to come out this Friday has undoubtedly been collected and the President must release it.
What I care most about is that we follow the law here, and the law is pretty clear that firing for cause means job-related, like someone who has been inefficient or someone who’s been corrupt in doing the job…we are a nation of laws, let’s just follow the law here.
When someone stands up and says, ‘I will lead this city by making it more affordable and here are my plans, real plans, plans to deliver on child care, plans to deliver on housing, plans to deliver; we’re going to experiment, we’re going to try things on groceries,’ that is the democratic message.
