This is the most substantive promotion of retirement savings in the last 15 years, and we all should be pleased that we are part of it this morning. One of my priorities since becoming chairman of the Ways and Means Committee has been helping American workers of all ages prepare for a financially secure retirement, so I am particularly pleased to be bringing this legislation to the floor this morning. According to a recent study, one-third of American workers believe that they will either face a significant financial hardship during retirement or, in fact, will never retire.…”
