I would just say briefly that, as I mentioned in my testimony, seeing predisaster mitigation withering away seems to me to be the wrong message.

I think it is important for us all to understand that we are talking about something that has a huge benefit to those of us that live in rural populations and, again, benefits the urban centers so they can get across those rural areas.
Any additional changes to Dodd-Frank's derivatives rules needs to satisfy, in my opinion, a high burden of proof for me to support rolling back rules on the derivatives market just because they are inconvenient for some institutions.
An infrastructure plan must be a bipartisan plan if it is going to pass Congress.
I personally think that a lot of the good we are seeing today is the result of the actions we took several years ago to stabilize, secure, and improve the economy and is now working its way through the system.
