There is hereby established the Citizens' Advisory Council on the Status of Women (hereinafter referred to as the 'Council'), which shall be composed of 17 members appointed by the President, one of whom he shall designate to serve as Chairman.
So the central responsibility, of course, is to try to develop a climate in this country where there is as close to full employment as we can get it, and then to give particular attention to those who are handicapped.
Let us therefore proclaim our gratitude to Providence for manifold blessings--let us be humbly thankful for inherited ideals--and let us resolve to share those blessings and those ideals with our fellow human beings throughout the world.
