Mr. Speaker, I rise today in observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Sixteen thousand children in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer every year. Only one in five will survive. I have a very special constituent, Chase Ewoldt, of Wheaton, Illinois. This is Chase with his mom and dad. He was diagnosed at the age of 2, in July 2012, with a very rare aggressive brain and spinal cancer. He withstood a grueling 14 months of treatment, spending more time in the hospital than he had at home. He survived. He is not out of the woods yet though. Chase is the nationwide ambassador for St. Baldrick's Foundation, and his mother wrote a book called ``Chase Away Cancer.'' This is an incredible example of resiliency, tenacity, and faithfulness in the course of a very difficult season, and I just want to pause and bring attention to Chase and to his family as we recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. ____________________
