As the designee of the gentleman from Virginia, I rise to offer the amendment. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Amendment No. 23 offered by Mr. Lipinski: Page 27, after line 7, insert the following new section: SEC. 111. CYBERSECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE REPORT. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General shall transmit to the Congress a report examining key weaknesses within the current cybersecurity infrastructure, along with recommendations on how to address such weaknesses in the future and on the technology that is needed to do so. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 1051, the gentleman from Illinois (Mr. Lipinski) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Illinois.
