I think it's just, you know, unreconstructed authoritarianism, of the kind that Donald Trump has been demanding since he took office. You know, this idea that there is no difference between Donald Trump, the person, and the United States of America. That when you oppose Donald Trump, you are opposing the state, and the full powers of the Justice Department ought to be used to come after you.
