Mr. Chair, I was absent from the Chamber today, Friday, May 28, 2010, due to the travel schedule for my return to my district on account of official business. Had I been present for the one rollcall vote taken today in the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union on the amendments that were offered to H.R. 5136-- National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2011, I would have voted as follows: ``aye'' on the En Bloc Amendments, as modified, No. 9 offered by Chairman Skelton of Missouri (rollcall vote 333).
