I really am very worried that if he plays a clever parliamentary game it may look good inside the senate but it could cost us two senate seats and control of the senate. So I would beg him to bring up the $2,000 payment as a free standing, independent vote.

Now, if it`s real --if it`s -- first of all, it`s really tight, they`ll steal it. So, you can`t afford to have a really tight election. You have to win by big enough margin they can`t steal it.

the key is to find a way for people to rise so they never go off a cliff of losing so many government subsidies that it is now worth their while to go to work.
