the Hyde Amendment is not wise. I think it is unjust and cruel, and I believe it takes away the freedom from people to make the most personal decisions that they can have, and it hurts the people who have the least amount of resources.
I think this is important--is that you analyze the so-called Jobs Plan how many women you believe are going to get back into the workforce with that plan versus the family plan.
Sadly, as we are speaking here today, there is a mass shooting happening right now in California, in San Jose.
The Hyde Amendment is the ultimate form of discrimination against low-income women.
