That is woefully inadequate, and even the FTC says as much in the conclusion of their report.
We need to ensure that the replacement is fully funded, and the process is fully transparent.
There is no law right now that prohibits these data brokers from selling this data to malign foreign actors whatsoever?
Fortunately, there is much that Congress can do.
