Mr. Speaker, I have a motion to instruct conferees at the desk. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The Clerk will report the motion. The Clerk read as follows: Ms. Ros-Lehtinen moves that the managers on the part of the House at the conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on the Senate amendment to the bill H.R. 2194 be instructed-- (1) To insist on the provisions of H.R. 2194, A bill to amend the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 to enhance United States diplomatic efforts with respect to Iran by expanding economic sanctions against Iran, as passed by the House on December 15, 2009; and (2) To complete their work and present a conference report and joint explanatory statement by no later than May 28, 2010. The SPEAKER pro tempore. Pursuant to clause 7 of rule XXII, the gentlewoman from Florida (Ms. Ros-Lehtinen) and the gentleman from California (Mr. Berman) each will control 30 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from Florida.
