I have signed on to a bill that has been introduced here in Congress that would require the oil and gas companies, if the price of gas gets too high, to return some of those profits back to the American people.
We do not need a statute to give Congress powers it already has under the U.S. Constitution's territorial clause.
I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to testify before the Committee today on the critical issues impacting my constituents.
