I talked to one of my colleagues the other day, and we talked about how over the last 8 years we have increased our Nation's debt by, I think, more than we actually increased it in the first 208 years of our Nation's history.

Not really. I have just come from the Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee, which is having a hearing on the Key Bridge, the bridge in Baltimore that was badly damaged.
I usually default to the golden rule, and I think in this case it's a pretty good guide as well.
