Mr. Chairman, I would just reiterate that we have no objection to this amendment. I wish it really accomplished something, because the deeper things that are problems in this bill are going to kill offshore production in large part; and we don't need to be killing jobs and raising taxes in the time of a recession. We have no objection to the amendment because it doesn't do any harm. I yield back the balance of my time. The CHAIR.
