I applaud President Obama for nominating Gina McCarthy to take on this difficult task.
It is my hope that the new EPA leadership will not seek to administratively expand its regulatory umbrella.
I will look to you to begin a new chapter with the EPA--one that sees the agency as part of a community.
Rather, working with property owners and communities to help implement needed changes is far more productive.
