This is about whether Congress should repeal President Trump's Muslim ban, and we don't agree--I would say, respectfully, to my colleague--on the Rules Committee. This is about whether we should prevent this administration from putting in place more discriminatory travel bans in the future, whether individuals deserve access to legal advice during the screening process at ports of entry, and whether Congress should vote before any escalation in hostilities with Iran. That is what is before us in the rule today. These are incredibly important issues. They go to the heart of what America is supposed to be about.…
