Bill Clinton actually said...

We can never truly repay our fathers… for their many precious gifts to us.

We owe it to the families of the children who died in Littleton to give all Americans the safety they deserve.

They did. But they didn't beat me; they beat the American people.

I hope that they will be able to keep doing that.
