SCHNEIDER OF ILLINOIS At the end of subtitle B of title XII, insert the following: SEC. 12__. HELP ISRAEL RECOVER THE HOSTAGES. (a) Findings.--Congress finds the following: (1) There has been substantial and sustained cooperation between United States diplomatic, military, and intelligence agencies and Israeli counterparts to help Israel release those taken hostage on the attacks of October 7th, 2023. (2) Multiple proposals for returning the hostages and implementing a ceasefire have been developed with the help of the United States and international partners and presented to both Israel and Hamas. (3) Hamas has impeded or outright rejected these proposals, refusing to release the hostages and extending the suffering of civilians on both sides of the border.…
