Should they not be doing that on their own?

The focus needs to really be on low-cost, small quantity, low rate.

DOD is taking efforts to revitalize industry's IR&D activities and resurrect a more meaningful interaction with industry on communicating future R&D needs.

I really don't believe that DOD is investing adequately.

I think we have to get back to recognizing that you pay a little more and you get a lot more, it's worth it.

I think it's extremely helpful.

This is a resolution that we're putting forward honoring the excellent mission that our Special Operations Forces have just done.

We need to ensure our competitive advantage is not reduced at this critical time.

The defense industrial base today is as fragile as it's ever been.

The majority of graduates from our universities with advanced degrees in the STEM fields are now, many of them, non-U.S. citizens.

I believe that having an industrial base that has some diversity is critical to be able to maintain competition.
