What we really should be focused on is how we improve the economy and basically repair the economy fundamentally.

This is an investment by taxpayers which we are going to get back, with interest.

I think it would be helpful if we used a fair amount of that trillion to address the housing industry, which is what I see to be the core problem.

We are the most cogent entity and we are the biggest economy, and, therefore, we have the responsibility to move forward.

my view is that that is an extraordinarily counterproductive statement to make in this market and will have a massively chilling effect on the willingness of private capital to participate.
