We are living in very difficult times, where we see violence and guns continuing to plague our communities.

What has set us apart from other nations for more than 200 years is our dedication to fundamental freedoms, equality, and universal values.

It seems to me that we that ought to be doing everything we can to surface all of the trafficking that exists in the United States.

Despite sustained anti-trafficking efforts, millions of individuals are bound by mental, physical and financial coercion and manipulation by traffickers who exploit their vulnerabilities for profit.

I think this is an absolutely important question. I do think police violence is really the key to a lot of other forms of persecution and subjugation of LGBT individuals in many countries.
