I appreciate the questioning regarding the block grants.

I think this would be another area where we could seriously consider opportunities.

I strongly support the President's budget request for additional funding for these purposes including his request for increased fees from industry to fund inspections of offshore operations.

The 2012 budget in a word is simply a freeze budget.

In the West, our water resources are precious and the Bureau of Reclamation helps us, especially in New Mexico, to ensure our water is used efficiently.

This infrastructure strengthens the backbone of America by making resources available for economies to grow while helping to preserve vital resources like water in a place where it is scarce.

It is economic development for the tribes. We are going to do infrastructure investments with those tribal economies.

The acts that you administer, the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, the Safe Water Drinking Act, are really the cornerstones, as you know, Administrator Jackson, of America's public health.

The supposed global cooling consensus among scientists in the 1970's is a myth.

I generally support the decisions that were made given our current fiscal situation.

It is about... helping economies grow. We want to sustain jobs, also we want to protect those agricultural interests.
