Continuity will be critical as we work through the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and move into the next phase of our response and hopefully our recovery.

We want to use these resources to help assist States in the cleanup.

I think that 20 percent of the world's surface freshwater resides there. We really need to protect the ecological integrity.

It was such a pervasive issue in terms of health and human impact, but the economic impact that was caused by the uncertainty in drinking water was tremendous in the State as well.

So many of our local communities are struggling in this area, because we have not invested in our water infrastructure in such a long time.

The Federal Government can indeed learn from States, and that is what we plan to continue to do.

I believe that education and outreach is a significant way we can provide technical assistance and resources to our State and local partners to tackle this challenge.

Today tornadoes are predicted in my district, and having a resilient energy grid, and a modern energy grid, is so, so important.

Simply put, we cannot continue to rob nearly half of our Nation's work force of the wages they deserve.

Congress has a moral responsibility to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act and the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act.
