The President didn't have corrupt intent, and that is why the Democrats cannot make out a prima facie case.

The President wasn't asking Ukraine to, quote/unquote, 'make up dirt about my opponent.'

There was also significant reason to believe that the Bidens were involved in corruption.

The President was not seeking to help with his 2020 campaign.

House Democrats should have worked through the courts, but they didn't.

The administration has consistently cooperated with Democrats, even though they have been out to get this President since the very moment he was elected.

The facts simply do not align with the Democrats' claim of obstruction.

The facts are on our side, and so is the law.

You don't have the facts because the other party on your quid pro quo... never felt pressure.

And how this works is, a subpoena is issued. The executive branch exercises their executive privilege...

I would defend this case every single day. And it is because the facts just aren't there.

So, again, no case can be made for abuse of power.

I hope that the Committee will consider these two important pieces of legislation that will help protect our friends in need of these protections.

These time-honored traditions are crucial to our upstate way of life and we will not allow them to decline.

I would like to bring to the Committee's attention H.R. 2442, the Puppy Protection Act.

I will continue to push to bring more product from our local farmers into our public schools.

This bipartisan bill would amend the Animal Welfare Act to prohibit the issuance or the renewal of a license to dog breeders and exhibitors until they have demonstrated compliance through facility inspection.

I am here today to urge the Committee to take up two very important bills, pieces of legislation, regarding animal protection.
