I would only say that there is something to the heinous, vile, and vicious Act of slavery that the descendants of enslaved Africans and those slaves experienced uniquely in this country.

I prefer 'tax cheats' to 'tax gaps.' I think a tax gap is a euphemism.

And finally, thank you for acknowledging mistakes--we don't hear enough of that in Washington--and that you are learning from them. That is very encouraging.

can you explain why you think you are still qualified to hold that position?

I think it is important that we stay focused on that data being accurate, and then, do resource allocations that focus on the regions and leverage the knowledge of the local providers and the local leadership to get to that last mile.
