If you are a diabetic, you have had no insulin for 6, 7, 8 days, or the insulin you had went bad, the result could be catastrophic.

Let me just start by saying that to be in the tropics for 8 or 9 days without electricity, without water, without medicine, nothing good happens.

It is a looming crisis.

What I'm more concerned about in the next 48 to 72 hours is ensuring that we don't have a Katrina-style event.

We need to lean into this a lot more than we traditionally would because Puerto Rico's government says their own capacity has been tested by two storms and a fiscal crisis.

It is clear, after the massacres and cleansing of October 2016 and the recent actions, that we need to reevaluate that policy.

Demand that they do something about that. Please do something about that.

A democracy, if you go back to Ben Franklin, was two wolves and a sheep deciding what to have for lunch. The sheep always loses.

I think that it is up to us to send a message to Burma that this type of repression, both whether it is Christians or Muslim, that attacks on unarmed civilians is unacceptable.

We need to put the pressure on now.

It doesn't make sense to me that before you reorganize or go through this process that there would be a suggestion of a one-third cut in the budget.

There is no reorganization in the State Department that is a substitute for enabling women around this world to be in control of their own bodies and to have reproductive health.

this has not felt like a team effort.

So this is an unprecedented moment in time. And I look forward to working through this to reform it...

I believe that the actions that this administration has taken is systematically going to add great suffering to women and families around the globe.

Are you seeing any progress? And can you commit to us here that bringing Bob and the other Americans being unjustly and cruelly held by Iran will remain a priority for this administration?
