It is impossible for people in their personal lives to make necessary changes if they are wildly insecure.

It is my sincere hope that Norway will agree to and comply with such measures so that sanctions become unnecessary.

I believe that Norway's action is serious enough to justify sanctions as authorized by the Pelly Amendment.

I urge all Americans to renew their commitment to protecting and developing our most valuable asset--our children.

The United States is deeply opposed to commercial whaling.

I believe, in short, that it ought to be possible to be a good parent and a good worker.

We have an opportunity, as well as a responsibility, to shape the future for our children.
