I am writing to you about our responsibility to promote equal opportunity for all Americans.

There is nothing wrong with this country that cannot be fixed by what is right with this country.

We strongly urge the Senate to provide additional funding for the Head Start program.

More important, I expect the Working Group to develop new approaches to address these issues.

But we still have a long way to go.

We urge the Senate to consider shifting funding from lower priority programs within this bill.

No Federal office should be exempt from the obligation to further the struggle for civil rights.

We urge the Senate to approve the bill.

This bold initiative will fundamentally change the way our nation's high schools prepare youth for highly skilled careers or further education.

Now the deficit's going down, and the economy's coming up.

I believe both leaders do want to make peace.

I am very pleased to name these eminent scientists, engineers, business leaders, and educators as some of my key advisers.

Much of it has changed for the better.

I think all Americans should be pleased that the United Nations has stated with a strong, firm voice.

The plan I originally proposed has been changed, and much of it for the better.

We have a consensus in this country on universal health care.

I want them to have health care.

I believe it will achieve universal coverage for all Americans, and that is the one criteria I have set out.
