I don’t think we’re going to be able to get a permanent extension; I don’t think that’s wise.
I know that in many parts of the country, there are Americans who are not going to be advantaged by this bill.
The fact is, advancing the final appropriations bills and avoiding a government shutdown will require a great deal of hard work and collaboration when Congress resumes session next week.
